Can I please have a sixth star on the rating scale for Kathy Wales?I've dealt with a lot of professional people, but Kathy Wales is easily in the top 1% of her field. She is energetic, detailed, always communicative, resourceful, a consummate problem solver and what I now consider a trusted advisor for anything to do with Real Estate. As the documents were flying, Kathy advised me accurately and candidly on what was going on and how to deal with the challenges presented by potential buyers. Kathy appeared to never sleep. I was getting timely documents and advice no matter what time of day it was.I sold an inherited property with Kathy which was in rough shape in a particularly difficult area. The total cleanup which had to occur, the curb appeal which needed tending to, the multiple offers which fell away, the vandalism to the property and the vagrants trying to squat in it never derailed or phased her from pressing forward in a most professional and determined way. I never got the sense that any of this was an obstacle for Kathy. With me living in Virginia, I couldn't personally deal with any of it. She visited the property daily and made contact with numerous neighbors while keeping an eye on everything. Kathy jumped on and solved each of those issues, unprompted, with amazing speed and resourcefulness. She called upon her network of people to clean everything up, guard the house, and see everything through to completion, all with the most fantastic attitude you could imagine.My wife works in Real Estate and I can report that most if not all the agents I know would have lost their minds early on. Kathy Wales, on the other hand, never faltered, never blinked and never wavered from the ultimate goal. I have nothing but the highest praise for Kathy and would recommend her to anyone seeking to perform a property transaction. The house closed today and I have to report a bit of an empty spot where someone who was a central figure in my daily activities is now absent.
